Thursday 27th February Pendulum Basics with The Tipsy Witch

The Talk

Learn the basics of Pendulum work in this relaxed and (hopefully!) fun chat and workshop.

Suitable for curious beginners, we'll give you an overview of readily accessible divination tools, including pendulums, followed a practical session on atunning to your own pendulum and the basics of how to formulate a question, along with other possibilities for using your pendulum such as working with charts.

Bring your own pendulum along if you already have one, or you can buy the one that you feel drawn to on the night. Pendulum boards will be provided as part of your ticket price.

Although experienced practitioners are very welcome, we are aiming this one at new users!

The Practitioner / Facilitator

Emma, also known as 'The Tipsy Witch' has been a practitioner since she was drawing protective chalk circles around herself in the playground at Primary school, and has been using pendulums, reading many books, and casting spells since she was in her late teens, but deeply re-engaged with her craft during lock-down. She currently has a growing interest in Crone and Hag energy, having reached a certain point in her own life, with an emerging focus on The Cailleach. She has a more-or-less sensible but interesting 9-5 job Monday-Thursdays, and then helps out with displays, stock ideas, and supplying jewellery and creative crafty bits at The Purple Spell on Fridays. If forced to describe her style, she keeps it simple and says very 'simply' that she is a Witch. She also thinks if you ask two witches, you get three answers, and if you ask three of us, you get ten!!

The Venue & Time

Please note that the venue is a gorgeous, quirky space up some steep and narrow stairs, so this event is unfortunately not suitable for those with mobility issues.
