14th May: Boo-oooook!-Grimoires and Books of Shadows

The Workshop (7:30-9:30 pm)

The iconic book of spells is an integral part of the image of the witch. But how do you build one? Are grimoires and books of shadows different? How do you go about organising them? This talk and workshop will walk you through creating this knowledge deposits and explore the uses and differences between the grimoire and the book of shadows.

You will also receive a small book and witchy pen to start your journey.

The Practioner / Talker

My name is Olivia Cherry. I'm what I like to call a scholarly witch, because research is a huge part of my practice and I have been practicing for 13 years. I have a BA and an MA in philosophy and wrote most of my essays in these subjects in defense of the craft. My specialisms are the tarot and alchemy, though I'll research and investigate almost anything. On a personal note, I have a wonderfully supportive partner named George and I have a very fat fluffy black cat called Jess.

The Venue:

Please note that the venue is a gorgeous, quirky space up some steep and narrow stairs, so this event is unfortunately not suitable for those with mobility issues.
